“John Storm” is an ongoing passion project, first created in the March of 2022. What started as a fun, creative project for friends and family, turned into over 30 min of fully animated and voiced 3D series. Season 1 is set to be completely finished in the spring of 2024. The project is available for anyone, with full episodes published on YouTube and Instagram.

The plot of the series revolves around the protagonist John Storm -  a rugged Cyber-Commando, trying to solve the disappearance of “Pseudo Jan”. Along the way he meets valuable allies, faces off against deadly assassins and unveils a global, corporate conspiracy.

All of the characters in the series are based on real-life people, using Character Creator 4’s Headshot plug-in. A vast majority of the 3D assets are modelled and textured by myself, while some have been purchased from the Unity store, in order to save time and give me more space to focus on the storytelling. The characters are rigged and animated using Mixamo. The clips have been recorded and created in Unity, with post-production done using Adobe Premiere Pro.

The project is inspired by works such as Cyberpunk2077, Breaking Bad, True Detectives & Red Dead Redemption. The entirety of the series can be viewed on YouTube
